Hello. Wonder if anyone can help. My ashtray wont close, been told by my local dealer the parts will cost £50.20p is this correct? Seems a bit steep after searching previous threads and seeing that most members with this fault have paid between £8 and £20 for the bits. Thanks

Just like Mikey says. That partnumber is for the complete ash tray assembly. Google it and you will see prices of £11.00. You can also get the individual parts. Which part is broken? Bracket or the ash tray itself?
Maybe the £50.00 is including labour? Replacing the complete part is a pig since you have to disassemble the complete center and lower console. CLUB ILLEGAL CAR WASHERS

Thanks. Just phoned another dealer and gave part number. Been quoted £12.52 + vat. Cant beleive the difference in price. Thanks

Price was just for the parts, no fitting. Told me its a complete unit with the 12v sockets included.

Ordered the complete unit from my dealer, when it never came they chased it and now tell me land rover only do it as separates and it adds up to a lot more

I don't know if you use the ashtray? I believe there is a non smokers version without ashtray.
