| Paddle shift to control command shift |

Hey, been in email exchange with Black Box and they mentioned a few guys had installed a paddle shift steering wheel. Not sure whether a disco 4 or RRS wheel was used but I,m trying to find out if it was a member(s) on here that did this? 1964 Series IIA SWB Truck Cab - gone

i have done it on a D4 ....but it is a rrs sport wheel i fitted

Undo the old one and swap it with the new one ...
No different than swapping any steering wheel G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

ok, but but what about getting 'Paddle shift to control command shift'? Was it a matter of a straight plug in of the existing wiring or did you have to make some wiring modifications yourself? I guess you can hard wire the paddle controls straight to the switch controlling 'command shift' now or you attach to the loom at the steering column and make a software adjustment? 1964 Series IIA SWB Truck Cab - gone

There is not enought spare pins in the clock spring to hard wire it ... And at the moment the software dosent work . ( Maybee when we can do software updates on the d4 it might change )
I had to wire mine wirelessly

Hence I'm hoping when available to flash the body control module with some 2012 software and hopefully It would work as intended G4 Gone ...but not forgotten
