Hi all,
One of my sidelight bulbs has blown, looking to replace and it looks like most bulbs are now going LED. But I see there are two types, CANBUS and not CANBUS. Something to do with detecting blown bulbs on the car computer !!!
There is no warning in my 55 plate SE disco 3 that the sidelight bulb has blown , therefore am I OK to buy the NON CANBUS bulbs as they a a bit cheaper?
Any advise as always, read with excitment!

Normal ones are fine, the CANBUS ones just have extra resisters in to make sure the battery drain is the same as std lights How To ? - Change your Brake Disks Pads Shoes Sensors August 2011 NEW V1.6a

l used non canbus and they blew to bits, literally, first time l turned them on

Yes got a set from HIDS4U and they are ultra bright white and work perfectly.
First set were from fleebay & useless

They are all good, can't do enough for you, better than a lot of UK sellers, never had any problems and I have bought a lot.
